So, our Wedding is on July 21 2012 and I feel so so overwhelemed right now!!! Maybe it's because I haven't gotten my Invitations in the mail yet so that I can actually mail them to the people I'm inviting. Maybe it's because my mother is driving me absolutely crazy!!!

Somebody please tell me that taking my dress to the bridal shop tomorrow to find out if it needs altered isn't too late!!??? ugh.. I'm very seriously on panick mode right now.

    You'll be fine!  Invitations should be sent 6-8 weeks before the wedding.  You're still on time!

    Tell you mother she's stressing you out or overwhelming you.  Maybe she'll stop.

    I think there are a few girls who have only just seen their dress for the first time and are starting the alterations now.  Just go to your seamstress and get on that ASAP if it's worrying you. 

    Really, just breathe!  Go to a happy place and take a break from thinking about your wedding (after you mail your invitations and go to the seamstress, lol!).  This is a happy time!

    You'll be fine with alterations. My first fitting isn't until Friday. And as long as you can you can get the invites out in the next two weeks you'll be set. Just calm down, breathe and everything will be ok.

    You'll be fine with everything.  My seamstress said don't bother seeing me until the first or second week of June.  Right now she is swamped with prom alterations and it isn't worth it if I don't have much done until right before the wedding.  Why don't you try it on before your appt so you have an idea of what needs to be done? My wedding is the 14th and I just mailed invites out on Monday, your fine.

    You'll be fine :) My first fitting isn't until mid JUNE! Granted I don't really need any alternations done except for hemming & bustle.

    Breathe, everything will fall into place.

    My dress is in, but I am still waiting on my yard of extra fabric to come in (I am having our seamstress create a one-shoulder strap). It is supposed to be in within a few weeks. My wedding is July 28, 2012, and my seamstress said I shouldn't schedule my fittings until June anyway. So don't panic about your dress!!

    And my invitations are just arriving in the mail tomorrow. So don't panic about that either :) We are about 1/2 way through addressing our envelopes as we got the envelopes early, but you will be fine!!

    I'm a July 21st Bride and I just had my frist fitting this past weekend and just put my invitations in the mail earlier this week. We have a lot fo OOT guest, so that's why we places them in the mail already. I would aim to get yours out in the next week though so you are giving 2 months notice. So you aren't too far!! Don't stress, this is our once in a lifetime to be a "bride". Everyone has told me to enjoy this time, so I'm trying my best to and not let little things stress me out! If you feel overwhelmed, ask for help from your mom, FI or MOH or bridesmaids.

    I laughed a little when i saw the title of your post cause i am right there with you! I am a July 28th bride and i think i cried 3 times this week over wedding stress lol When i read 'lvissers' comment on once in a life time to be a 'bride' i think we just have to keep reminding ourselves that b/c i was just telling one of my BMs yesterday how i feel like all the fun is being ripped out of it.... So dont worry and we are right there with ya! :)
