NWR: Looking for a nice hotel and restaurant for a VDay Surprise for my FI

Hi Ladies,
I'm looking to book a hotel and nice restaurant for Valentine's weekend as a surprise to my FI.  Does anyone have any hotel/restaurant suggestions? I was thinking of the Inner Harbor area since we know some restaurants there, but I'm also open to the Harford County area.  My price range for the hotel is $200ish for one night.

Thanks for the help!

Inner Harbor is nice, but I think that I prefer Harbor East. Mostly because I like the restaurants in Harbor East better. There's a bigger variety and higher quality places. You could look at the Hilton Garden or Courtyard Marriott.

The Renaissance at the Harbor is really nice.  But I agree with PP about Harbor East - the hotels are in really close walking distance to all of those resaurants (my favorite is Oceanaire or McCormicks)

Have you considered Annapolis? The Historic Inns of Annapolis have really nice rooms that are quite affordable? And you can't go wrong with Piccola Roma or Harry Brownes for dinner. Good food, atmosphere, and service at both. We ujsually start with cocktails at Harry Brownes and then head to Piccola Roma for dinner.

Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is pretty! Their restaurant is good too!

Turf Valley has a beautiful hotel with a restaurant on site.  Located in Ellicott City.  Also has a spa where you can get a couples massage.   the link is www.turfvalley.com
