Bridal party rant

When deciding on my bridal party, I thought it to be an extremly easy choice, but I guess I was wrong. I have 4 girls,
MOH - my sister
BM - an aunt that I've always been close with
BM - FI's cousin
BM - a friend from high school, the only one I've kept in contact with over the years.

I'm so annoyed with 2 of them, my MOH and my aunt. I'm having the hardest time choosing a BM dress. I found one I really like, emailed them all the picture. MOH said she it was nicet, when I asked if she'd be happy wearing it, she said " I don't understand, are you paying for it?", I don't understand what that has to do with anything?! I've told them all I'm trying to put 100$ aside per girl which would be given to them closer to the wedding to use as whatever they'd like. My aunt said she didn't like the dress, but would have to see it on someone first, which can't happen because the designer doesn't carry it's dresses where I live.

They are making it so hard on me, EVERY dress I like has something wrong with it. They aren't even bothering trying to help find a dress that they do like.

Ugh, I don't expect anything of them except to pay for a dress, look presentable the day of and show up!

Was the dress expensive? Did you ask each of them what their budget is ahead of time?

Budget has been asked, and the dress is under budget. I could understand my sister's reaction if they dress was more expensive than we had talked about, but it isn't.

Maybe the 5 of you can go somewhere to try different styles on. Or just you and your MOH.I know I would have a hard time ordering a dress online because things tend to look so much different on. Also, while it's nice if all of your BMs love the dress you choose, that might not happen, it's hard to please that many people so keep that in mind also instead of getting stressed out over it.

I second what RDR said. I ended up picking two styles and sent them to the girls and said they could pick between two styles. One wase a little more on the conservitive side and one was strapless and what not. They all see the ones I liked ahead of time (i think I showed them 6 different ones and narrowed down to the two styles).

I really think it's time for a shopping trip. I also second that not everyone will love the dress, but as long as it is within budget, and you've taken their general taste into consideration, then that's all you can do.

I just picked a color that I wanted and they are going to pick the style they want. Although I only have two girls my sister and cousin. I have been in weddings were I had to pay for my dress in full it's part of being in the wedding it's like wedding code or something! I'm sorry they shouldn't do that to you. They aren't good BM to do so. It's suppose to fun for you and stress free as much as you can. Even if you have to go a little bridezilla I say you tell them this is what you want and that's it.
