  We just went suit shopping today and at the end of it, all of the guys were afraid to commit "in case they get fat" in a year. The bridesmaids were less concerned! I just posted a bunch of Qs on the AA board kind of similar to yours, so feel free to follow it. I thought it would be good to shop now bc we have hard-to-find summer colors. However, if we were just doing little black dresses I would wait until 6mo or less I think. Idk. I can't wait to hear what others have to say! Good luck!

  i'm not even going shopping for my dress until October, so I'm sure getting the bridesmaids dresses will be fine around that time

  I got suckered into a dress appointment at a bridal show back in January but wasn't ready to shop for myself, so I made it a BM appointment instead. Made it for March and four of my five girls came out and went. They found a dress they liked and I agreed during the excited, but later decided I hated it. So me, my MOH and the one BM who didn't go last time went again back in May and I made a final decision. However, they won't be ordering them until January. But they all know the designer/style/color they need to order. I still haven't gone shopping for my own dress. I'm going on Saturday. I don't enough about fashion to be concern matching fabrics or whatever. 

  
  

  FI knows he wants him and his boys in gray suits. Not sure when he plans to go, but I know he's excited. I'm pretty sure he's waiting to lose weight, haha. Plus, for guys, if they aren't getting something custom made, they don't need as much time. FI plans on picking something off the rack and having it tailored, so he really wont need that much time and I'm guessing he'll go this winter/super early spring.

  Well I might get the tuxes from either Davids Bridal or Jenni's Bridal (local bridal store). I found my bridesmaids dresses at Jenni's. Might call them to see if I could get a discount on tuxes since I got the bm dresses at Jenni's. Now the ladies will just have to pay for their dresses :)

  Since I am getting my dresses through Jenni's Bridal, they said get my dresses by Oct and tuxedos by April but I am gonna tell my groom Feb. He is a big procrastinate.

  I'm trying to set up a time iwth my BMs to go try on dresses and look at them next month. I want them to buy the dresses 5-6 months out but that's right around Christmas and New Year's so I want them to be able to budget it in for around the holidays or buy it anytime before then that they have the money. For the guys we probably won't be doing that until February-March since it will be a little easier.

  We went BM shopping last week. My oldest daughter was in town so we did it while she was here. We picked out a dress but I'm not going to order them just yet.

  I was told not to look at tuxes until next year when the new colors/styles come out. So I probably won't do that until mid-spring with my FI and a groomsman.

  Not sure what FI is doing for him and the boys. I will not be looking at BM dresses until March-April, I know it's kind of cutting it close, but my MOH is due this December and I want to give her a couple of months to recover before we start looking at dresses.

  I have appointments this Saturday for bridesmaid dress shopping, and then we're going suit shopping at the end of the month. My fiance's twin brother is his best man, and he considers himself quite the fashion plate, so I expect that he'll be harder to please than any of the girls will be.

  I have told my BM's that I will most likely ask them to pick whatever dress they want from Alfred Angelo, I'm just trying to figure out which color.  They've all seen the website and have seen styles they're interested in, so it's smooth sailing so far.  I'll probably make a final decision within the next few months, as soon as I pick mine!
