<div>This is hilarious.  I haven't read the book but there are SO many people on FB that have and are all ZOMG I LOVE IT.  I want to post this just to see what they think.</div>
  • I love that Jennifer Lawrence meme--what is she reacting to?

That was pure gold. I love Goodreads reviews.
  • I haven't read it, but that was pretty funny. It's how my mom described the book, minus the gifs. And she added that Christian Grey needs to be throat punched.

I love the Jennifer Lawrence gif. I always wonder what that was in response to.

  • Read that last night and cracked up.  I still like the books though.  Embarassed  Of course with that review people will think my sex life is vanilla-lite now.

<div>A frequent GIS poster (ZeroOrchestra I believe)  has that as her sig.  It cracks me up everytime.</div>
  • Haha I read the whole review too and cracked up. I also love that Jennifer Lawrence sig and wonder what it was in response to. I want to perfect making that gesture, it's just so bitchy and cool at the same time.

I have absolutely no desire to read these books (even before having read this review). I endured the Twilight books because my friend was so ZOMG about them, and after I was finished, she recommended the Janet Evanovich books, and then the 50 Shades books, none of which I've read because I do not trust her judgment anymore.

  • Thank you.

Thank you for bringing this into our lives.

And I must admit, I'm saving some of these GIFs for future use.  I have a feeling that we could use the one of the guy walking right out of the window many times on these boards.

  • Hahaha awesome. God that prince one gets me every time.

  • That was greatly entertaining and solidified my decision to never read those books. I got a sample of the first one on my Kindle but I could only make it a few pages in because the writing was so terrible. I also have zero patience for week heroines which is why I never read Twilight either.

  • I love this review so much. If anyone wanted a more in-depth style review of why those books are so awful (it's kind of in the style of Mark Reads Twilight), check out Jennifer Armintrout's blog.

    It's so good.
