Can you proof my webpage? Planning a ceremony without a mass

Hello Ladies,

I was wondering if you a few of you would be willing to proof / make sure everything is right on my webpage? I just recently made up a page to help other brides in the same boat I am, planning a ceremony outside of mass.

FI and I are getting married in the Catholic church we attend. He is Catholic, I am not. Not being Catholic has made the process confusing for me despite having attended mass for him for over a year.

Also, if you have any other tips or good websites please let me know and I can add them. I have run into lots of brides attempting to plan a ceremony outside of mass and I hope this page will be helpful for all.

TIA!

-- The Gospel, homily and Intercessions are part of the liturgy of the word

-There are 2 responses for the Gospel. The first at the beginning:
-Also with you (which will change beginning in advent)
    -Glory to you Lord

and at the end "Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ

Hey I just saw you were getting married in Columbia. Did you go on awakening retreat?

Thanks for all the tips. I assume you are talking about the ceremony template . . I didn't want to include all of the responses because I felt like it was just to much. I thought the ones following the readings would be the best. What do you think? It's what out priest suggested.

We are getting married in Columbia. I have no done an awakening retreat. What is it?

Awakening retreats are done at many Campus ministries at colleges (including Columbia newman center). I helped on a few at mizzou. They are AMAZING. That's where I got a start to my faith.

You spelled "psalm" wrong in a couple of spots (plasm). There's also a spot where you probably want to use the word "write" instead of "right" under Prayers of the Faithful.

I don't think you can actually eliminate the Alleluia... but I have seen it spoken.

Thanks for the few spelling things. I will get them fixed for sure.

For the Alleluia  . . on the planning page taken from the Together for Life book is says Alleluia Verse and Verse Before the Gospel and it has a line for omitted that you can check. Is that the same thing?

Interesting. I haven't heard anything about them. I do plan to begin the classes for adults in August.

I'm not sure as I'd have to go back to my TFL book to read it in context. But it sounds like you can omit the VERSE for the Alleluia if you wish. In a regular mass, the Gospel Acclamation is often sung with the Alleluia as the refrain and a short verse.
