Weekend surprise - My bridal shower!

I knew that my sister (and whomever she got to help her) were throwing me a shower and I knew that invites had gone out and it was soon, but I had no idea it was going to be yesterday! She did a pretty good job keeping it a secret and it's only by fluke that I kind of figured it out before I actually got there (I saw a bridesmaid who lives 2 hours away at Walmart and she was in the home goods section AND she avoided me and ran away when I saw her).

Anyhow, there were some issues with invitations apparently and some people may not have gotten theirs in time to attend, but my sister couldn't control the weather and I'm sure that's what had the invites delayed as most people got theirs I believe.

    Ally - It was held at the church my sister and I work at and we're having problems with our W2's so my sister told me that our boss wanted us to go back to the church at 2:15 so she could talk to us about them. She said that she needed to go home right after church so she could get her hubby (the pastor) and her kids lunch but that we should meet her at the church at 2:15. It was mostly believeable because I wasn't on Sunday because I had to attend church at the church we're getting married at since we had to meet the pastor there right after. I would have totally bought it had our boss followed through and called me to tell me to meet her at the church at 2:15, but instead my FI kept telling me I needed to ask my sister about my W2s and when I finally caved and did, my sister told me we needed to meet the boss at 2:15 lol

    Castillo - I was so mad! I texted her and said "Was I not supposed to see you?" and I guess she spent the rest of the time ducking behind store employees and such lol
