To wax or not to wax!!!

Any one getting a brazillian wax for their honeymoon?!
Thinking about it, we are going to Monterey California for our honeymoon the first week of june...so we will be beachin' it a lot..
BUT im so scared it will hurt soooo bad!!!

THOUGHTS?!

    I did and it was my first time.  It was painful; but only while in the process; otherwise I was fine.  I did my pits too and it was really nice not to worry about any stubble or any missed spot on my wedding day

    I get bikini waxes..not the full brazillian, but a good amount.
    It does hurt during, but it's so worth it and the more you go, the less it seems to hurt, for me anyway. I always take advil before to help with any possible pain.

    I would recommend getting one or a couple before the trip just to see how you react to the wax, etc. Sometimes I'm red and puffy for a couple days after. You are also more sensitive right before your period, so keep that in mind

    GO FOR IT!!! I am a huge supporter of the brazilian (& full leg) wax, I hate shaving and it just makes it sooo much easier and lasts way longer.

    I suggest starting now, so you can get used to it and also give yourself time to figure out how much heal time you need. The more you go the thinner your hair will gradually get and the slower it'll grow back. And if you have thick hair, sometimes they can't get absolutely every hair on the first time because you can't re-wax the same spot. So if you start now you shouldnt have to worry about starting to see it grow back on your HM.

    It hurts but sooooo worth it. I got a brazilian my first time, figured if going to do it may as well take it all off! And if you find someone good, they should know the tricks to help and they go fast so its over quick.

    Should you not shave for about a week before getting a wax done?

    I get my entire body waxed (legs, stomach, back, arms, face, pitts), but I hate full brazilian waxes.  I've even had laser hair removal on my full bikini and I would recommend that over a brazilian wax.  Just my opinion.

    I had about 2 weeks of growth before my Brazillian.

    I do regular bikini waxes on the regular and highly recommend them.  I am way too chicken to do a full brazilian.  I agree with the other ladies that you should start sooner rather than later.

    Just an FYI, it's often cold in Monterey during the summer.  Overcast, mainly.  And the water will be cold.

    Do ittttt. Definitely worth the pain, IMO. Let your hair grow for 2-3 weeks prior, don't go the week before your period, and take some Advil an hour beforehand. Take deep breaths and breathe out before the technician rips the wax off. Try and talk to her if you can. That helps me keep my mind off it and the process feel to go by faster.
