Help with Candy Buffet

What kind of candy did you have or will you have for your candy buffet?  How many different choices?  I believe I was told to have 25 pounds for 100 people.

I know I definitily want to have Mike & Ike's (FI's favorite), sno caps and miniature reeses peanut butter cups (my favorite)

Any help would be appreciated.

    We are doing like m&m's and gummy bears (his favorite) and rock candy and gum balls...basically anything we both like that would also look cute.  A friend of mine did a candy buffet and sent me a great website fo buy some cheap candy if you want to e-mail me I'll send it to you =) lisa89760@gmail.com

    I would just make sure to include a lot of variety.  For example, chocolate, sugar, sugarfree (if applicable), hard candies, etc.

    As for number of choices, I would just do how many different jars you have.

    You will need more candy depending on the size of the containers.  Most people estimate around 1/2lb per person.  You want it to look full and not empty, even after people attack it.

    I had 125 guests, 14 kinds of candy, and about 75lbs and had a good amount left, but it looked great all night.  I went to a wedding last summer with one and I was one of the last people up there and there was only like 5 candies left in each jar, looked sad.
