I am planning to send my invites next week but there are a few stragglers and I'm not sure what to do if I can't get straight answers from them.
We are only having bridal party children at the wedding. We asked FI's sister if her son would be the ring bearer and she agreed. Now that the wedding is close she isn't sure if he will be able to do it. We offered to pay for half of his little tux and I told FI to let her know if he has a little black suit he could wear that instead. I want to know for sure so that I know if I should include him on the invitation. I am afraid if I invite him and he is not in the BP then some other guests, whose kids were not invited with the excuse that they are not in the BP, will have a fit (mostly I am worried about FMIL because she has alrady tried to invite another child who is not in the BP) Is it okay to not include him on the invitation without a definitive answer but make sure FSIL knows that if she does decide to let him be the ring bearer then he will be welcome at the reception?
