I feel naked.

Brought my ring to the jeweler for cleaning and inspection. Turns out the center stone is loose so I had to leave it so it can be repaired. I leave town tomorrow for a business trip and when I come back FI and I are heading out of town for the weekend. so I won't be getting the ring back for about 10 days. Will be weird to be without it for that long.

    I totally feel you!  I have been without my ring now for about a week.  We had to send it out to be re-sized, and it takes for EVER!!!  I hope I get it back next week, because we have two weddings to go to two weeks in a row, and I want my ring back to wear to the other weddings!

    I brought mine in for cleaning when I had my wedding band resized.  I hadn't made it out to the car before I checked my finger thinking I'd lost it!

    When I got my ring resized it only took a couple hours, so I can't relate to the days without it.. But I felt naked when I didn't have it for those few hours!
