New York-Hudson Valley

Phew!

The day after I bought my dress I started if it was "the one". I've pretty much been stressed about it for the past 4 months! It just came in last week so I decided to go try it on yesterday. Thankfully, I love it even more than when I first got it!!! I am so relieved. I even found a veil that goes perfectly with it!
Just thought I'd share my good news  Laughing

Same thing happened to me!  I'm still second guessing myself haha - but I still love it.

Now my next try on & decision will be do I turn my dress into an off the shoulder look or go strapless? My issue is I'm not a strapless kinda girl - never was. My BM's are against me adding sleeves they think it looks beautiful as is but I don't want to be self conscious the whole entire day. Oh what to do what to do????? Kiss

What about having detachable straps put onto the dress? You can go strapless for the ceremony and add the straps for dancing... You can pick out whatever material you want and have a little strap/cap sleeve thingy (no idea what it's called) made.
I was DEAD SET against a strapless dress because I have very narrow shoulders and I feel like strapless doesn't look best on me... anyway, I ended up going with one that was strapless (go figure!).
Because I was so set on straps they Town Shop offered to have the seamstress add a little snap inside the dress somehow so that I could add straps. I eventually decided against it, but it looked cute and was very functional.
Do whatever YOU will feel best in!

Oh thank God it's not only me. I mean when I put the dress on I'm like ok not bad
but again still never a style I would pick. Then I just have constant thoughts like am I still gonna feel half dressed. I swear it's just my mother's voice screaming in my head it's no appropriate. LOL I don't know why I keep getting this feelin? Unfortunately she's not hear for me to ask. I called the bridal shop and I said I just want to come in to see if I did add them what it would look like?  Who knows I may just go w/ the strapless. I hate all this indecision! ughy

    I'll let ya know.
