Cake with bridges

Do u think that a cake with bridges looks to old school to be classic? I put this on my local board but thought more opinions were best.

I don't think they look "old school" but I personally just do not care for cakes with bridges.

I do agree with them looking old school. I was looking through an album and most of them that had fountains/bridges I didn't like. It is your wedding though - so if you like them, then do it!

I say no fountains, either.  I mean, it's a cake.  Just let it be a cake.

I think they are a classic old school wedding idea - and if you need that much cake, then by all means have it the way you want it.

I personally am not a fan of bridges either, unless it is a small bridge with the bride/groom standing on it kind of thing.

They look extremely old school but that may be the look you are going for. Do what makes you happy.

Exactly. Bridges and fountains scream cheap 80's to me. It's like, hey guys, we couldn't afford more cake so we found this random crap in my old barbie doll stash and thought it would make it look bigger and therefore more expensive.

Please don't humiliate your poor cake. Let it be it's pretty self.
