Help!

Does anyone know of any pastors, possibly in the West Chester area, who will marry my fiance and I, even though we are living together?  We began the process with the church we have been attending, and they seem very unwilling to marry us since we have been living together.  We don't really have another option as I just graduated and am looking for (and do not have) a job, and my family lives an hour and a half away.  Please help!

Thank you!

Re: Help!

  • Could you simply tell a pastor you are 'roommates' not ... whatever.  I know some people who have done that and it's met the criteria of being ok.  Depends I'm sure on what religion you're talking about.
  • I was googling ceremony sites yesterday and I came across this officiant, then I went to his Face Book page and it looks like Proud to Plan has used him ( On his facebook page 10/12/2011 date post) and I've heard nothing but good things about Proud to Plan, maybe check it him out:

  • I'm Christian, and he already knows we live together.  We have talekd to other couples who lived together before marriage and had no issues (they were Catholic).  We have also been trying searches, and we found a site where pastors from all over were saying whether or not they'd marry a couple living together and 95% of them were fine with it.  I don't get it!
  • I'm sorry you're having that problem.  I was married in the Catholic church, and my husband and I were living together for almost 6 years before we got married.  We were upfront about it, and had absolutely no problems.   Hopefully you'll find someone who fits.
Paprika: I like it when you burp in my ear. It really turns me on.
