(didn't want to hijack the blusher post).So pic below is the design of the veil that I am looking for. I am willing to pay around $300. It is more of a chapel length veil than a cathedral. I looked at the ebay website you posted and didn't see anything like it. If you ladies see anything out there cheaper than the $414 my bridal store is saying (they came down from $475)...please let me know. It is just one layer with no blusher. I am one day away from buying this veil.

    that looks like hand embroidery to me, which is a little more difficult than applique but send her that picture and ask her if she can make it.  Not something *like* it,  that, exactly.   Thing is if you're willing to go as high as in the 4s, we can do way better.  Way.   Etsy, Pinterest, Recycled Bride, Preowned wedding dresses, Bravo Bride to start with.   Let's get it crackin.

    wait girl, stop the car - how far away is your garment district??  J said she paid $50 for full on give it to em front and back.  This way we get this handled ta-day lol.

    I have never heard much about the garment district here and not sure it is much of a garment district. Not sure I would find a veil down there but I guess it's worth a try.

    rowena are you in st.louis missouri or st.louis, Illinois?

    Either way..... and pardon me because I am in no way racist.... the hispanic shops have everything for cheaper and they usually put just as much love and detail into them.... take a trip to the hood!

    The one I got was plain but If you know a seamstress who would do the hand work for around $100 I could pick one up for you

    <div>St. Louis MO...and I am not even mad at your comment about the hispanic shop. I tried exactly that, looking for the bridal stores that also sell prom/quinceanera dresses. I been living here for about a yr and a half now and not too familiar with all the areas. Not sure there is a strong hispanic presence here. I did go into what looked like a chinese owned bridal shop. She said she would be able to sew it on but it would run me about $400! So that didn't help. </div>
