Friday is the day!!

DH and I are leaving tomorrow for vacation!  2 days in Miami and then a 7 night cruise!  I'm super excited.  We've been talking about this now since Christmas; I can't believe it's finally happening!

Good luck in all of your planning ladies!  I'll be back to contribute to the boards in a little over a week!

Now I'm off to finish cleaning the house and start packing!

    Enjoy your vacation. Maybe when you get back you can help me sell my FI on a cruise for a honeymoon - as of right now we have no plans to take one!!

    This is my first cruise so I will let you know what I think!  DH was on a cruise with his family when he was 14 or so.  He pushed for us to go on one together and I wasn't initially that excited.  Well... after doing some research, I think it's going to be a great vacation.

    As for selling your FI?  I think cost alone is a major factor.  I don't think we could have gone many other places and paid for food and 7 nights in a hotel for less than the cruise.  Airfare to Miami was pretty reasonable too, we paid about $200pp round trip. 

    ETA:  Oh, and we're flying out of Detroit.

    Have a blast!!!!  We are thinking of taking a cruise too in the next 12 months.  Give us a full report on the good and the bad when you get back!
