Put an offer on a house

Finally...found a house my FI and i both agree on and put a bid on it today...well trying to at least. I have been trying to reach my bank.
The house is a small but cute 3 BR 1 Bath with a huge basement with potential. We plan to if we buy it to finish the basement and make it a man cave with another bathroom. For us right now it is fine and has room for 2 little ones. :-)

That's so exciting! Fi and I agreed that waiting to hear back from the seller after we put our offer in was 10x more stressful that waiting for college admissions. Good luck!

yeah the property alone sold us on the house. So much room for 2 car garage and storage to be built plus the basement was a must. The awesome thing was, paid the wedding off, and now putting down a large downpayment...anything we get from the wedding will go toward renovations. Im so excited and i hope our offer gets accepted but im still worried it wont be. we will see.

Awesome house! Good luck! We also put in an offer, and it was countered and we accepted so I definitely know how that feels! Now the next stressful thing is getting the mortagage. We were preapproved but I feel after looking at our checking account they are going to tell us we spend too much money on things to get a house or something...I guess I will relax at closing (about 3 weeks after the wedding!)
