Has anybody talked to or heard from Jason Rhee lately? I've been trying to contact him since Friday about something and he hasn't gotten back to me...just curious. Thanks!

    Yup!  The 11th.  I also remember he had another meeting right before mine.  I haven't tried contacting him since then, though - I'm undecided about whether or not to go with him.

    He could be on vacation or shooting a weekend full of weddings. Try and call tomorrow.

    Thanks.. yeah I'm going to try calling again tomorrow.. I figured he might've had a weekend full of weddings, but its Monday now.. so I don't know. Thanks!

    Every so often, a message about Jason like this pops up and then he re-emerges.  I think he just gets a little overwhelmed by the volume of work sometimes and gets a little backed up.  We liked his work and he's priced very affordably, but this issue was the primary reason we didn't select him.

    I am using Jason for my wedding.  I was just in touch with him last week to schedule our engagement pics for next month so I don't think you have anything to worry about I would just follow up with a call or email.  I generally email he and I always get a response from him that day.

    Yeah, well when you're shooting 80+ weddings at 2000 a pop and providing bridal albums and two parent albums, things (and his costs) can easily spiral out of control.  I'll be surprised if he's still in business in 2 years.

    Yeah, not sure why he doesn't raise his prices, then he can do less and focus more on customer service, rather than volume.  He seems established and busy enough to make that jump.

    He had weddings all weekend, and just needed to catch up with emails...but he knew exactly who I was, and spent awhile on the phone with me. So I'm not concerned at all.

    I used Jason to shoot my wedding in May. The pictures came out great and I received them in a timely manner.  He mailed them directly to my house in nice boxes with an HD print cd and a web resolution cd.  I compared his work to many photographers ranging from $1500-$6000 before I booked him. I expected to pay around $6000 for a photographer but after seeing Jason's work and packages he just seemed like a smart choice.  I recently e-mailed him about my thank you cards and he got back to me within two days which I thought was more than reasonable.  He has been in business for several years.  I would recommend him to anyone.

    Did you guys meet with him at his home office or another location? He's a bit far from us but we are looking to meet with him, just not sure if we should go to his office or meet somewhere in the middle.  this is our first photographer meeting.

    we met with him at his home office (which was a pain to get to and took FOREVER because of traffic), but I know for a fact he will mee you somewhere halfway if that is what you prefer.. just keep in mine he most likely won't be available on a weekend to meet with you.. it would need to be a weekday/night.
