I haven't been around the boards at all lately!  I'm so sorry! I definitely miss you ladies!  But I've been working my ass off trying to save up enough money to pay my tuition in the fall!  But I hope everyone is doing well! 

I'm actually going to my church today (I'm Catholic) to meet with their coordinator to have a marriage information session and to finally secure my date! Ohhhh am I happy!  I hope everyone is doing well!

    Why are you scared? I think securing your date is exciting. I have no idea when I'm getting married

    I was nervous too when we met with our priest.  We had to do a meeting, then go to Pre-Cana, then have another meeting.  I think it's the nerves of the church possibly saying "no, we won't marry you."  But it will be great I'm sure, and I can assure you that it is much easier and than you're probably imagining it to be.

    You've been missed! Good luck with the church stuff! I'm also Catholic but we didn't go that route because it would have been too much a hassle with H stationed in Japan and being on delployment for most of the planning.

    So everything with the church went well!  But as I was explaining to my FI everything we have to do, he got upset thinking I was saying we have to do it ALL right now. (He leaves for training for 8 months soon)  We ended up fighting about it. great.  I ended the conversation by telling him I picked up a shift at work (little does he know I picked it up so I can afford to buy him the iPad2 for his birthday) and he said I was only saying I was going to work so that I didn't have to talk to him and when I got off the phone I was going to try to pick up a shift.  Really???  I tried to tell you earlier but when I don't talk to you until almost 5 pm and you don't return my calls or texts all day don't expect to know everything!!  Ughhhh men sometimes!
