Flowers

Centerpieces

Do I "need" a tray for my centerpieces? I'm going to have glass cylinders with flowers in it and floating candles. I didn't know about the trays until my soon-to-be husband asked if I was going to buy trays too, because we are on a very tight budget. And if so, do you know where I find some online?

All feedback is welcome! Thank you!

You mean to set your CP on?  I don't think it's necessary.

I don't see why you'd need them. I've never even seen centerpieces placed in trays before.

I'm doing the exact same thing for centerpieces. It just happens that my venue has glass "trays" on the tables that we are allowed to use, but if they weren't readily available, I would not be spending money on them. I've seen that display done both ways and I think both are equally lovely.

What kind of flowers are you going to submerge? We are doing callas. I think it is a very classy presentation without spending a gazillion dollars on centerpieces.

    Thank you everyone!

I'm thinking about lose rose petals and have the floating candels on top. Not sure if that's the cheaper way... I'll have to check it out.
