Reception Sites in Waukesha County (Wedding in Delafield)

I'm wondering if I could get some suggestions on different reception venues in the Waukesha County area. We will be having the ceremony in Delafield. As of right now we are planning to look at The Delafield Hotel, Red Circle Inn and The Rotunda. Do you have any feedback on these or ideas for any other sites we should look at???
Thanks for any input you are able to offer!!!

You should check out the Delafield Brewhaus. They have a really nice reception area. They are located in Delafield, as i'm sure you already knew that!

Our reception is at the Broadlands Golf Club out in North Prairie, about 20 mins away from Delafield.  I've been to a wedding at Seven Seas before; it was pretty nice.

I wanted to go for The Delafield Hotel, but it was a little out of my price range :(  I am staying there the night before and night of the wedding - it's so pretty!!!!!

I would recommend the Delafield Hotel. How big and when is your wedding? There is also Hawks Inn (for a small wedding) and Legends Golf course (you need to have a 1 year membership)

I'm having my reception at the Red Circle Inn!!  It was the nicest venue we looked at & the most reasonable.  The food is phenomenal & the space is gorgeous - there's a separate dining room & room with bar/dance floor.  It fits up to 240.  The owner's name is Norm & he's super nice & helpful!  The Delafield Inn is absolutely gorgeous as well, although it is a little pricey if that's an issue for you.

Thanks Ladies! We ended up booking The Legend at Bristlecone. It was nicer than the Delafield Hotel and less expensive. Also the coordinator was MUCH nicer! :)

@rlschmidt I am also thinking about booking The Legend at Bristlecone.  Have you found a website with more photos?

This place is awful and I’m so glad I found out before I booked my rehearsal dinner there!  Don’t book anything there or you’ll regret it!  Tricia Knutson is not professional, is short and terse.  Instead of taking my word for it I’ll tell you our conversation and you can form your our opinion.   My fiancé and I had dinner at the Delafield Brewhaus the week between Christmas and New Years Eve’s 2010 and were reviewing banquets menus.  Delafield Brewhaus happened to be one of the menus.  Since we were there we asked the hostess if Tricia was available to show us the halls.  The hostess said she was off but she could show us the halls but if we wanted to make reservations or get more info we’ll have to speak with Tricia.   A week later, after the holiday I went online and noticed the banquet menu prices increased drastically.  I called Tricia and told her I had the banquet menu from 2010 and I was in last week could she honor last week’s prices.  She told me “no.”  I then asked her if she would waive the room fee, which she also told me “no.”  I explained that this was poor customer service.  It was by one week that I’m asking for some negotiation.  Tricia’s response was “we have companies that have Christmas parties here every year since 2005.  Are we supposed to honor the 2005 prices?” This comment was absorbed and ridicules.  I’m clearly not asking to honor prices from several years ago.  It was 1 week and it was during the holiday season.  Furthermore I was in the restaurant viewing the hall when she was off.   Tricia’s response was, “how do I know you were in here?”  This was an extreme accusation, calling me a liar, when she could have simple asked her staff if I was in.     She then told me the entire menu is revised.   This is an incorrect statement.  It is only the prices that have been drastically increased.  When I said this to her she laughed.  I was very frustrated and asked to speak to the manager and was transferred to a voicemail.  I left a voicemail but never received a call back.  She clearly gets frustrated easily, lacks professional and is not well spoken.    On a side note, her relation, Erin Knutson manages Delafield Brewhaus, which clearly explains how Tricia received her job being unqualified.   Seven Seas is down the road and is about the same price and offers much, MUCH better service, better scenery and is on lake.   Seven Seas Restaurant 1807 Nagawicka Road, Hartland, WI  53029 Phone: 262-367-3903
