I know NOTHING about invitations, especially pocketed ones!

Seriously!

FI and I found invites we both liked on weddingpaperdivas but I really have my heart set on pocketed invites.  weddingpaperdivas only has maybe 6 colors of pocket folds to choose from (none of which would look good with the invites we picked out).  I stumbled upon cardsandpockets.com.  So I guess I could order the pocketfolds from them and attach the invite from weddingpaperdivas (making sure all the dimensions are correct, of course).  Is that how that works?  would that be our cheapest option? (trying to spend under $250 for 100 if possible)    What would I use to attach it?

I also am not sure I "need" pocketed invitations (but they're so fancy!).  The majority of them will only need an rsvp card.  We only have maybe 15 that would need a card for directions or hotel accomodations.  I just think pocketed invites make everything look more organized and reduces the risk of the little rsvp card/envelope getting lost.

ANY suggestions or help would be appreciated!   I'm running out of time!

  • I got my pocketfolds from cardsandpockets.com and love them. I got my invites and inserts (3 for each invite) printed from 123print.com...i've had to cut everything down to size which was a pain but well worth it (saved about $700).

since you don't have that many inserts, i'd suggest getting the "Panel Pocket" which isn't a fold but you can have the invite on one side and the pocket on the back of the invite ($0.30/each).

    good luck!
