Hi,

I'm Jessica, and just wanted to introduce myself to the other CT brides.

My fiance David and I got engaged on Sept 5, 2010. We just set our date for September 17, 2011 at Mystic Yachting Center.

I feel sooo much better now that we have a date and venue!

I've been browsing through posts for a couple weeks, just thought I'd say hello before I Jumped into conversation

Congrats and welcome!! I'm a Mystic Bride (but Seaport, not Yachting Center). It's a beautiful area. Make sure you reserve rooms soon if you're going to have out of town guests. It's after Labor Day so it might not be as crazy as June was but it can't hurt.

I am so amazed and excited about how friendly everyone is here!

Vanessa-we already got a block of rooms, the first place my fiance called was already all booked up (!) but she sent him a list of suggestions, which was awesome. Thanks for the advice though, I'm glad he thought of it because I hadn't!
