San Juan vs Vieques, Puerto Rico

So I have currently 6 nights booked at the W in Vieques and 2 nights (one real day of things to do) at the end of the trip in San Juan. I'm wondering if we are going to get bored on a small paradise island vs big city nights (we live in a downtown area). Should I get more nights in San Juan or am I worrying for nothing?

    San Juan is AWESOME. Personally, I'd do more nights there (weekend though if you can).

    It really depends on what type of stuff you want to do on your HM.  Do you want to relax on a quieter beach, do a lot of snorkeling, stick to the resort?  Or do you want to do more exploring, history, adventure, etc?  Both are great options, but only you can decide what fits the bill for the type of vacation you want to have.
