Wedding Woes

oh, f/u to caterer issue

She wrote back. She called mom shortly after I sent the email. Whatever she said must have calmed Mom down enough not to tell her to take her food and shove it, which is a feat, so I can only assume her reasons were legitimate (though still unprofessional if you ask me)

But we're sticking with her. If she flucks us the day of I guess people will just have to do with pizza or something.

I'm glad that's taken care of, at least for now.  If you have to order pizzas so be it.  At least you'll have a great story!

Yeah, I will even order my fav if that happens. I'll hover around it all, 'THIS IS THE BRIDE'S! DO NOT TOUCH! MINE!"

NO.  You must use fairy bread.

I'm glad you guys got a hold of her.

And if pizza is the worst thing that happens, so be it. But I'm hoping she does come through in the end.

You don't even toast the bread. It's just room temp butter spread on white bread and then dipped in sprinkles. I don't see the appeal.

I don't get it either.  I don't like that kind of white bread.  I like butter, sprinkles are fine, but together?  No.

I don't like plain old white bread. Crusty french bread turned into garlic bread? Sure! Sourdough? Great! But Wonderbread? Blech.

You missed the OP. She wasn't returning phone calls. She never suggested fairy bread.
