Live Music for ceremony/cocktail hour in bucks county, pa- suggestions?

Hi! Im looking for any ideas you may have where we can have live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour only. FI and I are considering a harpist but I would want the cocktail hour to be a little more lively! We'd still like the ceremony to be elegant and clasic but the option of cocktail hour being a bit more upbeat. Any suggestions? We are in the Doylestown area. Thank you!

FI and I are going to have a steel drum player or two for the ceremony and cocktail hour.  That would definitely be a little more lively! Just an idea!! I'm in the process of looking for one.  I've been in contact with a guy from NY that is willing to travel to LBI.  If I find a good one in the area or one that will travel, I will let you know.

I went to a wedding 2 weeks ago that had a steel drum band do the ceremony and cocktail hour. The band was the Steely Dan Band. They were pretty fabulous.

Shaw Strings is doing my ceremony music and I adore them.  I listened to their full quartet and it was incredible.  If you're looking for live classical look in to them.  Aunt Virginia is a total sweetheart and they will play more contemporary music.

I heard the Steely Dan Band on Preston and Steve one morning, they're really good and really fun!  Also Brass Holes but... I don't know if you want that name at your wedding.  ;)
