Problem with STD's

hello ladies

So I have a small bit of a problem with my STD's.

So almost a year ago I went thru etsy for STD's and she gave me a file and I honestly just ordered magnets from vista print and put them in my wedding binder until I had to send them. Well I finally took them out and showed them to my mom and she totally caught a missed spelling. The lady put thier instead of their. So question. Should I still send them or just do new ones??

    That's really up to you.  A lot of people might not catch that mistake.  How much would you be out if you redo them?  If it's not much then I would redo them.  If you spent $100 then I would send them out.  It's not your wedding invitation so I wouldn't be so critical about it.

    I agree with Jagore...would you be out...$20..$30...$50 OR $100? Is it in your budget can you take such a hit?

    It will all depend, I know some of our guest (one or 2 specifically are editors) and are SUPER anal about grammar and spelling and she'd bring it to my attention and tell who ever did it to take a spelling class or some smart remark.

    I would absolutely re-do them.  Some of your guests may not catch it, but plenty will. 

    Hopefully the seller is still active on Etsy and will fix the file for you.  Otherwise, if it's a high-res file and the fonts aren't too obscure, you might be able to fix it in Photoshop or Illustrator.  Try the seller first, but if she's not able or willing to fix it, email me and I'll try to help. 

    What a sucky situation :(.  Hopefully the magnets didn't cost you too much to order!

    I would re-do them without a doubt. It would bug me if I had to send them out with a misspelled word. It's possible only a few guests will catch it but it's also possible that most of them will catch it. I once received an invitation with 2 misspelled words and although I am not the best speller out there I caught on to it. I would see if the etsy seller could send a file without the misspelled word.
