Issue with dress

I just picked up my wedding dress today.  I have one slight problem - it is a fit and flare style dress and is pretty snug everywhere.  However, right in the front, around my lower stomach (under belly button area) there is a poof of fabric.  Is this something that can be altered out?  bc if not, it makes me look like I have a lower belly when I don't.  I hope it can be fixed :(

    That's interesting. I bet a good seamstress would know what to do and fix it for you.

    I have a fit and flare as well.  I would check with alterations to see what they can do.  Are you wearing a skip underneath?  Sometimes a good slip can fix the problem.

    Ok, there is the bulge of fabric around the lower stomach that I am talking about.  Keep in mind too, that I am only 4'10 and I am standing on the ground, so there is a lot of dress that is bunching around me.  That may be the cause of the problem and once it is hemmed, it may lay properly.  :)
