FFFC

Alright ladies -- spill it! It's Friday!

Re: FFFC

  • I flame myself today.

For even bothering to come to work.  I'm a hot mess.
For my apartment looking like a bomb went off.
For not grocery shopping a couple of days ago and having to do takeout for lunch and dinner for the past three days.

I also flame nature for having the audacity to invent poison ivy or rag weed.

  • I flame this headache that won't quit - I'm pretty sure it will upgrade to migraine status before the end of the day.

I flame myself for coming to work when I knew said headache would blow up.

  • Tay:  try taking 800mg of Advil now (if you can).  It may help keep it from going full blown migraine.  Fell better fast!

  • I flame my co-workers. They're all locked in a meeting that was only supposed to be 30 minutes max. An hour and a half later and they're still in there. In the meantime that means I'm the only one working the desk (I work at a library) and I haven't been able to take my break and it's almost time for me to take my lunch.

  • I flame mother nature as well for making allergies this year the worst I've experienced in years.  I had to leave work early on Wednesday and missed yesterday because my whole head felt like it was in a vice grip of epic strength.  Thankfully, the Advil Cold & Sinus combined with Zyrtec and a neti-pot are starting to make me feel better.  But I hate you Ohio and all your ragweed!

OMG I feel your pain sista!  WTH is going on out there?  I'm all the way in MA and it is hellacious here!  Hopefully it all dies off quickly.

ETA:  Anyone ever been on prednisone?  I'm on it for my god awful poison ivy.  I've been having hot flashes as badly as 50 menopausal women!  Does it stop.

  • I have never responded to Prednisone like that. I usually am prescribed it when I get strep along with an antibiotic. I always have good outcomes with it, but my co-worker said it would literally make her go crazy when she's on it. If it gets unbearable, i'd talk to your doctor!

</div><div>I flame my FI's company for denying his transfer request.  He's now offically on the job hunt.  I don't get it.  They denied the transfer because they want to retain employees in that office but now he'll just find another job and quit instead.  Stupid.

Sorry to quote the whole thing but phone being goofy. I was put a prednisone a lot as a kid for asthma. A few years ago for pneumonia. It was bad. I slept through most of the side effects because I was SICK SIcK. But hot flashes were evident and it induced full fledged crying can't breathe panic attacks and I had to get put in Xanax for a week because of it... Will never take it again
