My wedding day on 10/6 turned out perfect! Rain the day before, rain and hail (!)the afternoon of, but it dried up and was sunny enough for the outdoor ceremony, and was windy and cold (but dry!) on the double decker bus. All of my vendors were fabulous and I am so thankful for finding the Las Vegas board on theknot – without which I would not have planned a wedding in Vegas at all…so it is truly thanks to all of you for your fabulous reviews and gorgeous weddings which convinced me to make this happen for us as well.

As I started writing my reviews, I realized that I just had so much to say so I have some very detailed reviews in my bio - check them out there!

I would not hesitate to recommend any of my vendors to any of you lovely brides, in fact I hope you all do use them because I loved them so much!  Here is a list of my vendors, all have grades ranging from A to A+++++!!

    PS - So far I have only seen a few pictures on facebook, and none are really that great.  But I will be sure to link to some as soon as I get them!

    yeah, the weather was a surpise - especially when it was warmer back home in WI than it was in Vegas!  oh well  :)

    I couldn't believe how much the weather shifted! It was almost 100 degrees the week we were out there. We left Vegas on 10/4, and H and I laughed so much about how we were going home (also to WI) to warmer temps! So random.

    Hurray for another Hey Lady bride! Sucks about the blister. I discovered a blister too, but my feet are kind of wide, so I wasn't too surprised. I wore them for over 8 hours, and was comfortable, which I've never been able to do with heels! (Mine were also 3")

    I'm sorry about your photographer issues. I actually had some similar thoughts- my mom went with us on the photo tour, but I don't think she was actually in any pictures? I was in such a blur, I didn't think to ask about it, or insist. I don't think I have photos with my BMs individually? Anyway, I'm sure once you see the photos, you will be in love all over again, and the small things that went "wrong" won't really matter. Or at least, you have to convince yourself to forget about them- there are a few things that I have to do that about too. There's no do over, so don't let small things get you down about the amazing time it sounds like you guys had.

    thanks natrasha - i completely agree!  I loved deacon and sarah and had no problems with them - i think i was mostly just a bit unprepared for how the day would go and it caught me by surprise so just wanted to warn others to be prepared for that.   i am sure that once i actually see the pictures, they will be fabulous and we will have plenty of bridal party shots to choose from!

    Congrats!! It sounds like it was beautiful!! I am having my wedding at CP as well....would you mind if I asked you how much your bouquet upgrade was? I am trying to decide whether to keep it simple and upgrade at CP (I have the 6 stem roses as well in my package) or go through an outside vendor. Thanks!! :)

    I was pleasantly surprised by the cost of the upgrade.  I'm doing this from memory, but I believe my bouquet was $150, my sisters was $45...and then the credit from not using my 6rose bouquet was $75, so I think my total was around $120.  I felt that was super reasonable and was pleased with how they turned out!
