FI and I were at KOP last night returning boots at Nordstrom and we saw these amazing Jimmy Choo heels! They look like disco balls! How do you guys feel about glittery shoes under the wedding dress? Someone told me to splurge on a nice pair of shoes and they become so much more special to wear on anniversaries and special date nights.

This pic does not do them justice - and it appears to have bad reviews, but it turned out to be because they were too big on the reviewer...

I think they are great! There was a blue, sparkley pair like this at Nine West that I almost bought for my wedding. If they make you happy and you'll be comfy in them (holy cow 5 inches!), then I think you should go for them!

I would look around a bit before buying them though. There are a lot of companies out there that make great shoes in this style for a lot less. Nine West and Badgley Mischka come immediately to mind, but there are others too.

That is a HELL of a splurge. Wowza.

That being said, I LOOOOVE the unexpected shoe under a wedding dress. A lot of people do colored shoes, so I think a sparkily shoe would be even MORE unexpected!

They have other sparkly shoes at other stores. Try DSW.
