What should be my TY gifts for my MOHs/BMs for hosting my Shower?  MOHs are putting more into it that the BMs, so their gifts should be slightly nicer.  And my Shower theme is 50's Housewife Teaparty, if that helps.

I was thinking of sending them a questionnaire via email to help personalize their gifts, like what are your top 3:
    Favorite colors
    Restaurants (for gift cards)
    Stores (gifts cards), etc
Any ideas of what information I should gather?  This goes with the 1st question.

What should I get as a gift for our ceremony musicians?  FI's aunt and cousin are flying in from Maryland to perform at our ceremony (they did the same for a cousin's wedding last summer in NY).  Obviously they aren't being paid for their service, but I want to get them both a nice gift that is in the $50 to $75 range.

Not sure how much you want to spend, but for my first shower, I got the girls each a colorful umbrella (~$15 at Target) with a note "I hope your next shower is as wonderful as today!"

I'm looking for more ideas though, still have a couple more showers, and would like to do something different for the others.  I also need to finalize gifts for the WP.  So far, I've gotten them each a (cheap) <a href="http://www.charlotterusse.com/home/index.jsp" target="_blank">necklace</a> to wear at the wedding, a <a href="http://www.katespade.com/designer-jewelry/designer-bracelets/idiom-bangles-creme/WBRU0025,default,pd.html?dwvar_WBRU0025_color=142&start=16&cgid=jewelry-bracelets" target="_blank">Kate Spade bracelet</a> (I got 3 different colors) and <a href="http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=66197&vid=1&pid=522173&scid=522173632" target="_blank">flips</a> for the reception.  Now, I want to get them each something that's unique to each one of them to round out their gifts.  I'm thinking concert tickets for one, and I just bought a Groupon to <a href="http://www.dogeared.com/" target="_blank">Dogeared Jewelry</a> to get something for another.  I've been looking at Etsy, too.

I'll let you know if I think of any great ideas ...

ETA: On a related note, someone on the Registering and Gifts board posted this <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/65320935/personalized-wedding-handkerchief-mother" target="_blank">handkerchief</a> idea for mothers ... thought it was cute.

This is tough, and I don't know your friends, but I was thinking maybe it would be cute to stick with the theme?   What about cute aprons, or even teacups.  I know my mom collects pretty teacups (not sure where she gets them from), and they are very pretty.  Favorite colors would probably help with both of those ideas.  Depending how much you want to spend, you could incorporate those ideas into some kind of gift basket.  You could include mad housewife wine in the basket!

I'm jealous of your theme, it sounds like tons of fun :)

Thank you for all of your wonderful ideas ladies!

Am I the only one with questions this week?  Wink  I'm such an AW today....

    One more question:

Do you think your Shower TY cards will match your WR stationary (STD, invites, Wedding TY cards?)?

I'm browsing the internet right now trying to figure out what my shower TY cards should look like.  Pink (the main Shower color) or Blue (the main Wedding color).... so many decisions.  I cannot believe my Shower is in a little over 2 weeks!

My MOH bought my shower TY cards for me.  They matched the shower invitations she used.  The shower paper products were different than the rest of the wedding paper products but equally awesome in their own rite. :-)

For my first shower, they weren't exact matches of my WR stationery, but they were the same color.  I stuck with those colors, and it seems like the shower hostesses have gone that route too.  :)

I found a really cute shop in Ballard where you can design your own purse/clutch what have you... Laura bee studios. Kinda fun cause you can personalize the gifts to each girl:) and it's locally owned:)

Personally I'm not thinking of matching my ty to the Shower invites as they will likely be emailed (the invites, not the TY).  And I have cute TY cards with my last inital on it but I'm changing my name so will use them up this way.

I'm also struggling with what to get as gifts for some of the WP - mainly FI daughter and sons - she's my BMaid, one guy is his GM and the other 2 ushers.  MOH & Bman are married so have a joint gift, framed picture of Mt. Rainier.  Have small gifts for friends helping at the wedding but need ideas for friend who is singing who has his own music business (he's doing it for free).

Also could use ideas of key things to remember to talk to the minister about.  Our first meeting is this Sunday and I'm not sure what to ask.
