I know many of you have said to go to Alfred Angelo in Frisco, but have any been to the one in Firewheel in Garland? Is one better or worse than the other?
I called literally 30 minutes before I showed up and the were more than happy to set up an appointment for when I got there. I hadn't planned on being in the area and I wasn't planning on trying on dresses, but my father was with me and that is a rare occurance.
It was a Saturday and they were super busy, but I didn't feel like I was a burden to them. I can't remember the name of the girl I had, but she was very helpful.
I believe that is the location that StephHall bought her dress at.

I went to the Frisco one and they were really nice. There is a difference in which one you go to because some stores are bigger then others and might have more of a selection. Good luck on your dress search!
I went to both during my shopping... and preferred the one in Firewheel. Some of the ladies in Frisco were a little miffed that I actually wanted to stay until 15 minutes before the store closed. I mean, you have a closing time for a reason - you're supposed to actually stay open and host customers up until that time!!! They weren't outright rude, but you could sense some irritation. (And yes, I had an appointment.)
At Firewheel, they were SUPER nice, even though I won my dress and wasn't buying it there - I just wanted to try them on. The manager, Janice I think, is REALLY nice.
I bought my dress from the one at Firewheel and used a woman named Susie (I think) she was so nice and helpful. I came in and didn't have an appointment and she spent all the time I wanted helping me try dresses on back and forth
I used the one at Firewheel since it was closest to me and was overall pretty happy with the experience. I got my veil there too and they were very helpful with helping me to pick it out, and showing me the different ways I could wear my hair. The dress did come in way earlier than they told me however, and I was expected to come and pick it up immediately and pay the balance.
