AW your pets--and do you integrate them into your workouts?

As I'm sitting here working, I'm looking at my perfect little pup sleeping in the sun. I adopted him 6 years ago (in May) and he has been an absolute joy to me every day. I just wanted to share some photos, and see other cute pet photos to cheer me up on this freezing cold day.

I've tried a few times to run with him. I even tried to have him pull me on roller blades per something I saw on TV, but we can't seem to get in sync. He always runs in front of me and trips me. So, we go on our walks, but have to get our real exercise separately--me at the gym and him at the dog park.

I don't workout with Griswold. He's too crazy. My FI has tried running with him before and I guess it goes okay, but he needs more work. He definitely has the potential be a good running companion though.

Sleeping in the back seat of my car. Chocolate lab, just turned 1.5 years in February. He's my crazy monster and I love him.

My old golden used to be able to pull me on rollerblades.  He passed away a few years ago, though.

We have Scarlett now (better known as Smushface, Smushie, or The Smushter.)  She wouldn't work out with you anyday, let alone get off her own butt.  The little diva is more in tune with eating and sun bathing.  If only I was kidding.
You all have seen a million pictures of her, but I'll share them again because then I get to look at her little smushie face too :)

    Sunbathing...

She actually piled up these blankets herself...it's the most work she'll do in a day

    lazy, lazy, lazy...

I don't work out with my cats, lol. Although they do love to mill around my mom when she does yoga at home. ("my" cats are now technically my parents' cats since I don't live at home anymore).

This magnificent creature belongs to my SIL:

[QUOTE]I can't post pics from TK mobile. I did include a pic in the post below this of our furbabies. Bailey, our mutt mix, is our runner. She runs with me quite often. She is great. The only thing we have to watch out for are squirrels. Aries, our German shorthaired pointer, is getting better at running. H takes him for a run a couple of times a week. We recently went on our first mile run with him. <strong>He actually did pretty good, though he did have to stop a few times to mark his territory.

That's another problem with my dog. He has to stop in pretty much every yard to mark his territory. All of these houses are HIS, darnit!

I've got 4 furbabies, but not all of them are up for exercising! :)

Here's Kitten - She is 3 years old and the queen of the house - only exercises when she sprints from the bed to her food bowl.

Here's Bailey - she is a 4 year old blue heeler/jack russell terrier mix and she is my running girl. She can easily do 5 miles+ and still have energy afterward.

Here's Bear - He is my 10 year old lab boy...he can still run about 2 miles, but he would rather swim!

Here's baby Meaty - 2 year old frenchie who would rather sleep and chew on nylabones than anything else!

I only have cats and they definitely aren't work out partner material.  Unless you count laying down underneath me while I am trying to do pushups.  Or getting snuggled while I am stretching.

Your cat climbing is too funny!

"My" dogs are technically my parents since I've moved out. But I see them often. Neither are good for running with, though I do take them for walks in the summer.

    This is Jack during snowmageddon:

    awww furbabies :)

I have none here in Florida :(
But last year while H was deployed, I fostered Bruno who was pretty much the coolest dog ever.
He was a kicka$$ running partner, too, but only for 4 miles (which was fine by me)

He's a pit/lab mix and my first real experience with a Pitbull. I am IN LOVE. He was the sweetest dang dog I have ever known and I misssss hiimmmm <3<3 He would have been great at backpacking if he weren't scared of water -__-

These are my pups at home with my mom. I miss them as well. They are awesome to beach it up with, but not great for going on runs.

"Oh, don't mind me.. I'm just getting my summer tan on"

"On nom nom nom nom" Gee, thanks Quest for bringing in half the tree.

My Maine Coon  kittymow. She's a monster and keeps all three of the Border Collies in check. Here, she is very interested in the Ermahgerd memes.
