Sorry, these should have been posted days ago... we just got back in town on Sunday night.
Here are my reviews...
Mandalay Bay Wedding Chapel: A+. From the moment I started planning until the day of my wedding, everything was taken care of very quickly. My first wedding planner was Richelle and she was promoted to supervisor, so my next and final wedding planner was Jamie. Jamie was on top of everything, and made sure all my questions were answered. The day before the wedding I went and dropped of the marriage license paper work and they took care of it from there. On my actual wedding day, I did not see my wedding planner Jamie but the girls who were there helping me and my guests get situated did a wonderful job! No complaints here, if I had to do it again I would in a heart beat.
The Mandalay Bay Shark Reef: A+. I LOOOOVVVED everything about our ceremony in the shark reef. It was so beautiful and so unique to get married in an aquarium. Everything was perfect. My dad and I had to enter through the back entrance, which was really the offices for the shark reef employees. Too much fun!
Mandalay Bay: A+. The hotel room was just a basic room, but it was beautiful and big enough for Jeff and I. I wouldn't stay anywhere except Mandalay Bay if I were ever in Vegas again.
Cashman Photo: A+++++. Some of you may be shocked by that rating but honestly, my pictures are amazing. Our photographer was Chuck, and he was super nice and so easy to work with. I was expecting our photos to be not the greatest, but was surprised when we went in to look at our pictures. I didn't feel pressured into buying anything I didn't want, and our package came with 12 photos..... I ended up buying the package that contained the CD and the rights. Was it expensive... YES.. was it worth it.. 100%.
Todd from Bently&Wilson Photography: A+. He was wonderful to work with, so easy going and so much fun. We hired him for 3 hours, 1 hour to shoot formals after the ceremony, and 2 hours for a photo tour. He had some great ideas for photo's and we def. got our 15 mins of fame with him. We had people taking pictures of us and wanting to be in pictures with us... it was so funny! His pictures arrived a week earlier than expected, which was awesome. His photo's are fun and full of life. I am so glad he was able to capture such special moments in our life!!! I would hire him again in a minute!
Stacee Malmedal (Hair): A++++++ Stacee is AMAZING! She does hair and makeup. I hired her to do my hair on my wedding day. Her prices are VERY affordable (for Vegas) and she comes to your hotel room. She did an amazing job on my hair, it came out exactly the way I wanted it to. I have her e-mail address and phone number if any of you would like it, just ask! I loved her work.
Presidential Limo: A+. I can not say enough good things about this company. We rented the Escalade for 2 hours to do our photo tour. Our diver was Marie and she was amazing, so friendly and happy to be there. She arrived early and was always so warm and welcoming. Todd joined us, and it made our photo tour that much better! Amazing company and customer service.
Debi (Fit for a bride): A+++ She is one amazing lady, what can I say that hasn't already been said. She is great to work with and so easy going! She truly loves her job and you can tell. Would do business with her a million times over!
Fedex: F-. Yes F- for horrible customer service and horrible delivery. My dress was supposed to be delivered the Friday before our Thursday wedding and when I called to see if it had been delivered it had not. The following Monday was the 4th of July so Fedex does not delivery. I called Fedex to see what was going on and why my dress was not delivered when it was supposed to be and the customer service man said... "Obviously the business was not open or it would have been delivered", shocked I said thank you and called Debi right away to ask if she was closed that Friday. She told me no... we were open all day, but don't worry when we get your dress Tuesday it will take no time to steam it. That put my mind at ease but I was still POed at Fedex for giving me some BS excuse... I called them back. This time I got a customer service woman, who was really not much more help... I told her (yelled at her) that this was my wedding dress and it had to be there by Tuesday, she needed to make a note on the package that it had to be the first priority on Tuesday. The weekend goes by here is Tuesday, the day we fly out to Vegas. I arrive at Mandalay Bay at about 2 PM to check into our hotel room. I get a call from Debi... "your dress hasn't arrived yet".... WTF are you serious??? I call Fedex.... at this point I am so POed that I just start screaming at this lady... she understands why I am so mad and tells me she is going to call the driver and see what is going on.. I am put on hold.. she say's "the driver just told me he is 20 minutes away and will be there as soon as possible... GREAT! He arrives at Debi's 20 minutes after I hung the phone up and she receives the dress... The Fedex driver told her, his truck broke down on Friday and someone else was supposed to pick up his packages and deliver them. That never happened.... I am never shipping Fedex again.
Ri Ra Irish Pub; A+. Amazing food, amazing wait staff. We ended up going here for our wedding dinner. They heard we had just got married and put us in our own special room, my hubby and I received free drinks the whole time we were there. They sat us down within 10 minutes, no reservations or prior knowledge of us coming here for dinner. If you like a fun, loud atmosphere this is your place.. I will be eating here every time I go to Vegas.
Raffels Café: A+ Hubby and I had breakfast here before our ceremony (we ate at 4 AM, we got married at 9AM). Great food and very affordable prices! The wait staff was awesome and very friendly. Nice atmosphere to take in all the wonderful wedding day hustle.
