    What are things you 'heard' about, but were too 'new' to know about? I think I started posting right after the Knot went through menopause (aka...the change...aka the new format).  There were also a lot of references to a birdcagebride but I came after she'd gone.

    Who were the regulars when you started? Beka, Kyle, a lot of Katherines or something like that I don't remember who else.  I don't have a good Knot memory.

    What was your first post about? How far was too far between ceremony and reception locations.  Someone on a national board pointed me over here.

    What has been the most helpful here? ummm.  skip? (for now)

    Mrs. B over on E.  . I caught the tail end of it. Pretty amusing :o)

    Who were the regulars when you started?
    Jessica, Jessica, Meredith was here as well as Krystal and a couple others

    What was your first post about?
    It was over on NYE and it was me saying I was engaged! Lol. . I lurked a little over there and then eventually found my way to the NC board :o)

    What has been the most helpful here?
    The confidence and inventive imaginations ladies have here. I didn't have a large budget to work with, but my day was perfect thanks to the awesome creativity / blogs / helpful comments from everyone!

    Who were the regulars when you started? Melissa, Bridget, Katherine, Shannon, Renee, Bailey, Grace, Laud, probably others whose names I can't remember
    What was your first post about? Probably how ridiculous DH's family is
    What has been the most helpful here? Advice from other ladies, other people's bios

    did I miss something? lol  "Mrs. B over on E"....what was that about?  I don't remember.  My old knot name was birdcagebride..(I thought most of you knew that I guess?)   I stopped posting under it because I started posting on the bump once I became preggers.

    What are things you 'heard' about, but were too 'new' to know about? I guess previous GTG's and older knotties/alter egos...I remember hearing about Andrea before actually experiencing her wrath...lol.
    Who were the regulars when you started? oh gosh...laud, becki, aznownc, beans, and others I can't recall at the moment
    What was your first post about? who knows, it was too long ago.
    What has been the most helpful here? I'd have to say the people that went through it with me.  And all the vendor recommendations from the older knotties that led to me booking the right people for my wedding.  Plus all of the knotties that helped put together the NC Bride Bio and supported me through my planning by following my blog and emailing links to suggestions for stuff for my wedding (back when damask was so hard to find!).  You ladies were all amazing (those of you that are still here!)

    What are things you 'heard' about, but were too 'new' to know about? Andrea, Knottie lingo (I am sooo slow... didn't figure out HTH until like a month ago)

    Who were the regulars when you started? Grace, Beka, Melissa, Alyson, Jessica... others I am sure!

    What was your first post about? Probably to introduce myself. I know my second one was something about Durham Catering, I think...

    What has been the most helpful here? I think it's great that if I have a question lots of people weigh in with different ideas/suggestions/answers. It helps get a bigger picture of what's possible and what's normally done. And the support is awesome! :)

    Melissa congrats by the way! :) I think if you can get through being pregnant in this heat you can do anything. (At least that's what my recently-gave-birth-bridesmaid and I have decided.) :)
