10/19 ladies - One month!!

Holy cow! We only have one month left! I'm still waiting for 90+ rsvp cards to pour in (I want my mailbox to be packed every day this week). I'm starting to get worried about the weather - it was 45*F when I left for work this morning. I could see my breath while walking to the train! It still warms up to mid-60s by the afternoon, but who knows how long that will last.

Does anyone have any big things left to do? I still need to book a limo.

one month for me too!!!! I'm not sleeping well....I'm tired....heck...I'm exhausted...but if I wake up in the middle of the night...its almost impossible to get back to sleep....I can only assume this will get worse as the next 30 days fly...or drag bye...I expect it to fly in the category of things we still need to get done and drag in the aspect that Im not sleeping...hahaha....

I am still waiting on 60 people to RSVP....this part of the whole planning makes it seem slow.....We are in the middle of making centerpieces currently and putting together BM & GM gifts....need to start working on seating chart...and working on timeline for not only the day of, but for wednesday and thursday too.....making tissue paper poms currently (but those are easy).......ya....we still have LOTS to do....so much fun tho....we dont have any big family or friend drama, so it makes the whole process easier....I feel for other brides on here when I read about all the selfish people they have to deal with....I'm thankful I dont have that .......

I'm SO EXCITED!!!! I really need to figure out what to do with my hair tho.....its on the list too.....Im getting ready to go thru my third hair trial....looking at fingerwaves and pincurls....I'm hopefull this looks how I'm envisioning....because the other hair hasn't looked like I thought it would....

I'm with you on being grateful that I don't have any drama or selfish people to deal with. It makes it so much easier. I am getting frustrated with the number of rsvps that I'm waiting for. I know there's still time before the due date, but I really thought that I wouldn't have 175 unknowns at this point.

The next 30 days are definitely going to fly. It seems like just yesterday was 8 months out and we were ordering STDs. Now it's in a month and there's still so much to do!

Good luck with the fingerwaves and pincurls. Do you have a good inspiration picture? Sometimes that style is difficult to recreate without using TONS of product and making it look plastered on (unless that's what you're going for).

These are the two inspiration pictures....I have dark long hair like this....so...the girl doing my hair...who is gifting me hair for me and by BM's.....said she was excited about trying something like this....so that makes me excited!!!! The first time I got on this website, it said I had like 205 days to go....lol....and I was so excited when it hit 100 days...and then 50 days....and now 30!!!!!!!!!! CRAZY!!!! The other pics on the pinterst page of the short hair with fingerwaves...two of my BM have this short hair.....thats my inpiration on their hair too...

I can't believe it!! The last year flew so I am scared about how fast the next month will fly by too!

I feel I still have so much to do. So far this week, I have ordered and paid for all of our flowers from Sam's (we are doing our own centerpieces) and was able to finalize the wedding and groom's cake and get final costs. Hoping to pay that this week.

Next big things are to figure out over the next week:
Do I really want to do programs?
Will we get a limo/town car?
Plan Welcome Bags

And next week I will begin tracking down all the people that haven't RSVPed

Yeah! I have only been engaged since March so the time has just flown by because it hasn't been long! I am feeling ooohhhkkkaaayyy right now about being ready. A little stressed but not too bad. Tomorrow I am staying after work with a few co-workers to make a card box and flower arrangement for the altar/reception. I have a lot of things to do but I think they are manageable. I just can't believe we are down to counting weeks, yikes! I can't wait for the day to be here!
