Anyone choosing to go this route?  If so where are you getting yours from and what will the look/taste like?

I did cupcakes.  Everyone LOVED having cupcakes vs. a traditional cake.  I can't recommend my bakery (it's in St. Pete, FL) but it was pretty much the same as Georgetown Cupcake or Cake Love prices.  They give a 10% discount for 10 or more dozen cupcakes.  I got my tree at http://www.cupcaketree.com. I spray painted it in my colors and use a glue gun to attached the ribbon.  I still had a cake topper and had bride and groom strawberries on top of our cupcakes.  It was super simple and half the price of a traditional cake. hth!

I recently baked 200+ cupcakes plus a "cutting cake" for a wedding in DC.

I am an independent events planner and no job is too small!

I actually worked with the bride to develop this special cupcake flavor for her wedding.  It was a chocolate cake with a mint chocolate ganache and peppermint butter cream frosting.  They were a big hit.

    I charge $3.00 a cupcake to start.

Please contact me if you are interested.
