Last week I had my 1st bridal appointment at The Glass Slipper, a bridal shop that caters to 'big girls' and it was amazing! I didn't feel out of place, I didn't have to hold a dress up to me and wonder what it would look like actually on. They had samples that I could try on and it was great to feel welcomed into a shop that 'gets' me!
I picked a dress last week, the 1st of 10 that I tried on... but than I had dress anxiety all week that it was the wrong dress. They let me come back today and try on my 1st pick again and a few others to ease my doubts. And I'm so glad they did!
I found an even better dress that I love even more and fits my style better! Added bonus - the store is having their 1 year anniversary sale so I got it off the rack for the clearance price of $299!! My dress anxiety is no longer, I am so happy and know this is the right dress. The shop was patient with me and encouraged me to find the dress I was most comfortable in.
