Want to share a string quartet 10/13/12 near Hudson, NY??

Hi everyone,

Is anyone getting married on Saturday, October 13th, 2012 in or near Hudson, NY? I would like to hire the Devonshire Players, an amazing and talented string quartet, to play during my ceremony and cocktail hour. They usually do two weddings per day in the fall, though, so I'd like to find another wedding for them to perform at to make the travel more worthwhile for them (they're based 2-3 hours south of Hudson). Their repetoire includes everything from classical/traditional to classic rock/pop. I'll need them from about 4-6pm, but before or after is up for grabs. If you're interested, please let me know!

Holly

I have hired the Devonshire Players for my wedding next month.  I can give a better review after the fact, but during the planning phase of my wedding, Lakshmi - the main contact for the DP, has been extremely accommodating and such a pleasure to work with.  She even agreed to have the group learn some extra repertoire.

I would recommend them to anyone and they will be a highlight of my day, I am sure.  They are playing for both my ceremony and cocktail hour.

I also have hired the Devonshire Players for my wedding next month - ceremony and cocktail hour.  Lakshmi has been great to work with.  Their website has clips of their music.  I would recommend them as well!

I'm back with my review of the Devonshire Players - They were fantastic, and really added such a special touch of elegance and style to the day.  As a professional classical singer, I can tell you that their playing is really high quality.

It was a pleasure to work with Lakshmi in choosing repertoire, etc, and it was so wonderful of them to learn some arrangements of opera music specifically for our wedding.  I loved hearing the Brindisi from La Traviata and the Intemezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana right before the processional.  How wonderful!

My new husband and I are happy to give The Devonshire Players our highest recommendation.
