what did you/are you wearing to your shower?

Im not sure what to wear to my shower. I want to look nice, but we comfortable too... I am really a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, and with dresses i dont really feel to comfortable unless they are long.

Eversince iv had our son, i have really been wearing heels, so I dont think I want to wear heels either.

What are you ladies wearing? Any suggestions for me??

Mine was a surprise, so I was wearing white/khaki shorts, cotton tank top, and Old Navy flip-flops. MIne was outside and casual. Some guests were dressed like me and others were in dresses/skirts. Wear what makes YOU feel good!

I was considering wearing my purple dress that I wore for engagement photos. I don't have many chances to dress up so I'd like to do that. heh. I just dunno if I should since I wore it for engagement photos too...

Mine was a surprise so that didnt really matter tho i wished i knew so i can get dressed up. i would say dress up as much as you're comfortable with. it's your time so dont worry too much about what "should" be but do what you're comfortable with that's you.

I rarely wear dresses either, but for my shower, I wore a sundress on sale at TJ Maxx for 25 and flip flops.

I had the same question. I had no idea and didn't feel comfortable in a dress. I wore white dress capris and a pink, orange (wedding colors) and white top that was a chiffon material with a a white tank under it. Then found a nice pair of white wedge slides to go with it. But in the end... it's your shower wear what you are comfortable in. If its a dress then wear the dress, if not then wear something else.

I wore a white sun dress, but my mom had provided a pink "Bride to be" tank top because it was a suprise so I sported that over the dress

I wore jeans and a white tshirt that my sister had the word "BRIDE" put on in purple rhinestones (my fave color). She also got me a Bride to Be sash

For my other shower I wore black dress pants and a cute shirt

I wore black denim bermuda shorts with a casual dressy white top. Glammed it up a bit with jewelry and sandal heels. I was comfortable but still dressy.

i wore a cream lace dress that i splurged on, you can see it a couple posts back...
But if you like long dresses and flats.
Why not wear a cute maxi dress and sandals?!
That seems like the perfect outfit!

White dress from Macy's for the shower this past weekend. For my other 2 showers I'll probably do a sundress, and jeans to the other.

I too don't really wear heels and am a jeans & tshirt kinda girl. I wore a casual sundress, and then to make me stand out a little more than guests I wore some fancy(ish) jewlery and wore my hair much nicer than I normally do. I wore a cute pair of sandals with it. I was very comfortable and got lots of compliments

I haven't had mine yet, but was planning on wearing a sundress. Until FMIL sort of rolled her eyes at me and told me I should wear something dressier.

I really don't want to spend any more money and I don't feel like shopping for a slightly "dressier" sundress, especially if it's dressier, then I probably wouldn't wear it again. Argh!
