Reply Date

How many days should your reply date be before the actual wedding date for your wedding invitations?  I am getting married June 26 so should I have people reply by June 1 or sooner?  Thanks brides to be!

My wedding is May 20th and I had an RSVP date of April 15th. It can also depend on when your venue/vendors need a final head count by. I think June 1 is plenty of time.

Your RSVP date should be at least a week before your caterer/venue needs final head counts, to allow you time to contact those that didn't RSVP to see if they are coming.

I would do a MONTH before the wedding.

When I got married, I still had RSVP's coming in 10 days after the date I had selected.  I ended up having to go back to my caterer 3 times to change the guest count.  Luckily they were understanding.
