Wanting to incorporate Firefighter theme

Okay. So my fiancé is a firefighter and loves what he does. The colors for the wedding ceremony is navy, yellow, and white. He really wants to have some kind of firefighter touches in the ceremony and reception, but I have no clue what we can do because our colors are navy, yellow, and white not red and black. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. (:

    How about having a groom's cake that is fire fighter themed?  You might want to caution him that he needs to be really understated about this and not go too far or you could end up with a 5 year old's firefighter themed bday party look.  If you are being introduced into your reception, maybe he could wear his helmet?

    Thank you. A grooms cake that is fire fighter themed would be perfect. I love the idea of us walking into the reception with his helmet on! That will look so cute! I will have to tell him about that! Thank you again!

    In addition to the suggestions noted above, another subtle incorporation would be using the cake topper on your wedding cake.

    If you google "firefighter cake toppers" you would be surprised how many variations there are for this.....

    My brother is a firefighter as well. He brought his helmet and did some pictures with it (with photographer and in photo booth), and then had it sitting next to the card box on the gift table. It was subtle, but a great way to include it.

    I forgot to add.....

    As a "surprise" joke to the groom, my daughter had a garter made with a theme of The Incredible Hulk"....an inside joke regarding her workout regimen.  The company she used for this garter also has a few fireman themed garters.......
