Funky Driving Directions

How do I let guests know that they should NOT use a GPS to get to our ceremony/reception? I'm going to put the directions on our wedding website, but we have some people coming who probably won't give the website a glance unless they know for sure that it's really important information.

If it helps, my wedding is an outdoor casual sort of shindig.

Maybe I shouldn't even worry about it?

Re: Funky Driving Directions

  • I would put in a direction card.  On the card I would make some reference that GPS directions are not always accurate.

I doubt I would refer to a wedding website for directions.  Even if I did refer to it when the invite went out I doubt I would remember by the time the wedding came around.

I'm more apt to keep a direction card, especially if there is some reference that the GPS directions are not accurate.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
