Who else is bored today?

I'm not sure why this week has gone by so slow, but I sure am ready for it to be over.

So tell me, what are your weekend plans?

Or, you know, I could read the good morning post where this question has already been answered.  Embarassed

No worries, it happens.  Usually the good morning post does get that out of the way, especially on a Friday.

What are you up to today that's going so slowly?

I'm bored and procrastinating. I was supposed to go to the barn this morning to beat the heat again, but after being there 5 hours yesterday in the heat, I was exhausted this morning soooo now I get to go out in the dead of heat. . Go me.

I want to go see a movie, but dont know which one. Hmm what good movies are out?

Funny blurp from yesterday. . . the guy I ride for was talking to be about the heat and I mentioned how hot it was and his response was "Yeah, but at least it'll be cooler next week. .  .you know, in the 90's"  ugh its a sad day when 90's are 'cooler' ;o)

I'm bored at work too -- and its not for lack of work to do!  Just don't want to do it!  I am shoe shopping instead.  The posts earlier this week inspired me.  Sadly none of the shoes I find that I like are in my size (8).  Will keep looking!

Ditto Beth.  I have plenty of work to do but I lack the motivation to get it done.

ha, Beka someone at work said the same thing. "hey we got a cold front next week... 89 to 93"  when in the heck did 93 become a cold front!!

Oh and Beka, I think you should go see grown ups (but I love Adam Sandler movies)

and yes I am board too.  I have stuff to, but just being really big slacker today!  hurry up 4:30!!

Oh snap is that out this weekend?! I say "I want to see that" every time I see a commercial for it. Hah.

Yeah. ..  80-90 is NOT a cold front. . . I want a pool so bad. Our sprinkler doesnt cut it like it did when we were kids.

oh and since it is slow and I am so board, I thought I would just share my exciting news... I just purchased Brad Paisley tickets for $10 and no surcharge (super cheap for live nation!)  Woo-hoo, I can't wait for the show..  I love me some country music, and I LOVE me some Brad!!

Super jealous about the Brad Paisley tix!  Is that for the Charlotte show?  I saw him two years ago and I almost peed my pants when he played Whiskey Lullaby and out walked Allison Krauss.  I'm a huge Krauss fan so it was an awesome surprise.  I think the people around me wanted to hurt me though.  I tend to scream like an 8 year old girl when I get excited.

yea we want a pool too!!  But I tell you it's not all it's cracked up to be.  My parents have a pool and their water is 90 degrees.  it feels cool for like a minute and then its like bath water!  THERE'S JUST NO RELIEF from the dreadful 100+ degree days!!

Me and my friends are thinking about setting up a huge slip and slide with their sprinklers.. amazing how much fun you can have with a tarp, dawn detergent and sprinklers!

I saw Brad Paisley about 4 years ago in Winston - it was a pretty good show.  Sugarland and Sara Evans played too.  I do not like any of his new stuff -- all way too cheesy (myspace songs, etc.)  We got Zac Brown Band tix for August in Charlotte.  Live Nation isn't charging any fees for any summer concert tickets purchased in June, so the tickets weren't too bad!

Yes it is for the Charlotte show, but I think they have the Raleigh show for $10 too (today only)  This will be my second time seeing him, he really does put on a great show.  My FI, who listens to heavy metal is looking forward to going because he respects his guitar playing!

Also, I am a Krauss fan too... have you hear raising sand?  The CD with her and Robert Plant...amazing!!!

We're going to Zac Brown also.  Saw him at the downtown Amphitheater in charlotte last year (aka mini verizon).  Great show but it rained the whole time.  I can't wait to see them again.

I want to see grown ups soooo bad! DH (I so typed FI first...haha) hates the movies so we'll probably wait until it comes out on video. I love Adam Sandler too.

I am completely finished cleaning the bathroom...now I just need to finish up the kitchen, dining room, living room & bedroom. When I write it down it seems like so much more. :-/

agg, I am soo sorry Krystal I hate cleaning!!   especially the bathrooms and the kitchen.  I will start cleaning one room, have to go into another room and start cleaning it.  next thing I know I am working on 3 rooms at once and it seems like nothing is getting done.  Guess I have a small case of ADD!

BridgeFright, see if this link works.  Just click on your venue and then you will see the "$10 artist" for the day on top.  and just buy tickets like you normally would.  FYI- *$10 tix are only for lawn ticket.
