Good Morning!!

Good Morning Ladies,

I have a meeting in the Senate at 10, so I'm working from home unitl then. 

Last night here was absolutely nothing exciting, I didn't get home until after 7, so I just made dinner and we hung out. Tonight we are getting FI measured for his tux! Yay!!

Our invites are just about done, I got a proof yesterday and it had just one tiny edit. I think I am going to pay for them to do my escort cards and programs. It is $1/piece for the escort cards, and if I double couples up, it shouldn't be too much and the program is only $50 then I print them at Staples. I'm still a little torn, but I think I might just pay the money.

    morning, happy faschnat day!

    Last night was really chill, I left work early-ish and that was nice.  Today I have a lot of meetings for both work and for students.  Hope everyone has a good day!

    GM! Last night we had a roast from the crock pot for dinner (YUM!), I worked out, and we "treated" the pup to a spa night (bath and trimmed her nails). We ended up going to bed early because DF is starting P90X and is doing it in the am. Which stinks for me because I'm a light sleeper, and once he gets up (at 5am!) I am up. oh well...

    md - yay for getting out of work early-ish for once!

    Morning!
    Well there was some drama last night at my apartment. While I was in class I got a text from FI that there was a fire at our apt complex! I was freaking b/c 1) I was in class and wasn't there and 2) because of the LAST fire 3 years that I lost everything in... so I called the police dept to find out what was going on and they said it was a small apt fire on the 6th floor. They said everything was under control and not to worry. FI said there were 4 fire trucks and an ambulance there! To me, that's no 'small' apartment fire! Regardless, everything is thankfully ok but my pup was pretty shaken up. I'm just glad FI was home with her and she didn't have to go through that alone...

    tonight FI works so I was just going to run to the grocery store then back to work on my invites. My mom comes into town tomorrow and will be staying through the weekend - we're going to NYC on Saturday to look for a RD dress for me! We're staying in NYC Saturday night and coming home on Sunday - I'm excited... anyway hope everyone has a great day!

    J - LOVE your STD!!!! Super super cute! :) FWIW I think it's a fabulous idea to have someone do your escort cards and programs for you - speaking from experience, DIY sucks!

    Just popping in to say hi, ladies :o)  Waiting for H (!) to get out of the shower and then we're heading out to the Holocaust Museum.  Everything went perfectly on Saturday-- I'm hoping Randi updates her blog today.  If I have a chance, I'll come back with some pictures tonight!

    Well, I branched out yesterday and made Maryland style shrimp with mexican rice and a new fresh green bean recipe. FI ate it up and I was actually pleased with how everything turned out (I'm not the best cook in the world).

    Jbaxter- Sounds like a lot is coming together! Your save the date is amazing...

    md- Good luck at the meeting today. I absolutely hate work meetings. I feel your pain right now.

    dbpsu- I am doing P90X too... I keep starting and starting the program cause I keep getting sick (or just lazy lol). I'm hoping to get my FI on it too.

    gmc- Holy cow! I am glad everything is ok... My parents had the exact same scare at their apartment when they were first married... the whole roof of the complex caught fire but somehow their apartment was spared. Hopefully not too much was damaged at your complex.

    Ash- Let us know as soon as the pics are up! I thought of you Saturday night and I am so excited for you :-) The holocaust museum is my favorite by the way. Enjoy vacation...
