wedding photo books

Does anyone know where I could order a picture book from my wedding that is printed on thicker pages, like the cardboard baby books. I have already checked places like shutterfly and vistaprint and I have only found ones that print on regular paper, I wanted something a little more durable but don't want to pay $500 from the photographer. thank you

Those books are very expensive to print and you can really only get them from professional labs that work only with photographers. If that is what you want you may be better off going through your photographer. Good Luck!

I made one using somersetalbums.com.  I have a review with pics in my bio.  I was very happy with how it came out--however, it was still $400 so it's not a cheap option.

ETA: I have used Blurb for my guest book, B-pics and a parent album.  They all turned out nice and were fun to make but they are not high quality.  I also have a review of my parent album in my bio so you can see the difference.

I am a wedding photographer located in South Carolina.

Before I started giving my brides great quality wedding books (back when I really didn't know what I was doing) I used a company called Blurb. The books are ok, and under $100 generally. The pages are not rigid as you are hoping for, but if you end up not finding what you are looking for, this may be your best option : )

I just posted this on a thread below, but try adoramapix.com.  the pages are not cardboard thick, but they are stiff and lay completely flat with no gutter in the middle of the book.  The prices are also very reasonable, less than $200 can get you a 10x10 with 76 pages!

You will have an extremely hard time to find a book with cardboard thick pages for less than $500. I had tried for months. My photographer didn't make albums and most I researched $1000 to make your album! I researched the place Stephiehall mentioned and it looked great but like she said it was still at least $400 for the kind of book I wanted and you have to make it yourself. I ended up getting a gril from Etsy to design mine and I love it. It cost us $700 though so $500 seems a great price. Those books are just crazy expensive.

Depending on the size you want, you can get a 10x10 flushmount album with design, printing and binding for under $300 at www.wedesignalbums.com.

They only offer the board like pages that are actual photographs mounted on them, not the flexible style page.
