    -I asked our 2 of my younger cousins to man the guest book.... they are SUPER excited! I also asked 2 other younger cousins to hand out programs and bubbles... its fun to be able to involve them in the day of activities. They definitely feel special!

    -MOH called me last night and said she mailed the bach and shower invites!! WOO HOO!!! I cant wait to get mine! :) She is SO on top of things... the shower isnt until June 2 and the bach party is June 23! She's a planner!!

    -Confirmed our cake design and size with our baker. She is going to decorate a fake top tier cake so I can see how it will look. I am excited!!

    -I met with our florist last week and we confirmed all of our flowers. We added in a lot of babys breath and I am so excited! The flower girls are going to wear babys breath halos and the ring bearers will have babs breath bouts like below.







    -I decided on the photo below for our sand table bouquet. Our florist is going to add some roses to it as well.




    -I ordered the bow ties for the ring bearers

    -I met with some ladies from church last night who are planning my church shower. They are the sweetest! They have everything planned out and its goign to be so cute!! They are doing a kitchen/bathroom theme and asking all of the ladies to bring a favorite recipe to go with their gift, or a cleaning secret with their bathroom gift. I am still shocked that they are doing this shower for me. I joined this church 4 years ago and they ahve taken me in like I was their own daughter. What a blessing!!

    Did a mock up of my centerpiece last night.  It looks great!  The heart "confetti" is also reflective, so when the candles are lit, it will pick up the reflection. The votives are frosted glass.

    Just imagine royal blue and light blue linens underneath :)

    -FI & I went over gifts for the groomsmen last night. He still has to figure out what to get for his oldest son (he'll be 18 in May) and his father.

    -Started to talk to my mom about the rehearsal dinner. This is what she has offered to do for us, which I am very greatful for. There will be approx 30 people and we are going to do a BBQ at the church after the rehearsal. Steak kabobs, pasta salad, burgers, etc. It'll be great to be able to chill out after the rehearsal.

    -Re-addressed 2 of the invitations. People really need to stop breaking up. LOL. But, they go out on Saturday so if anything else changes, oh well. They can just note it on the response cards.

    -Figured out the rest of the songs/music for the reception. We are meeting up with our DJ tonight to go over everything.

    We registered last night at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They were SO helpful and we were there until after the closed. It was so nice of them. We were exhausted afterwards...that store is huge!

    What do you have in the water that looks like bubbles?  My centerpieces are similar and I keep fiddling and trying to find a way to make the water less boring.  I like your bubbles!

    And I finally figured out what to write on FIs moms hankie (totally stole the idea from whoever posted yesturday about the I'll Love You Forever" book so thanks!!) I'll probably find at Etsy seller and get that done today.

    I haven't posted my checks in a while so here goes: picked out and purchased FG dress. ordered favors started purchasing alcohol picked up paint and drilled holes for favor tags/escort cards. taking my dress to get altered tonight! bought stuff for OOT bags.

    Finishing up the ceremony script and sending it to our officiant so he can start reviewing it.  Apparently, he doesn't like notes and wants to know what he has to say so he's memorizing the entire thing.

    Beyond that I'm not quite sure yet.

    Finished stamping and sealing the invites last night during the Ranger game :) They will be ready to go out at the beginning of April. I am excited.

    Mom picked up my dress from the alterations lady yesterday. She just had a bustle. Today mom packaged it up to mail it to California. I thought about carrying it on the airplane, but decided against it. So it is getting shipped insured to my parents.

    We narrowed down some of the readings for our ceremony and putting together music and ceremony order.

    It feels like we all are in the little details before the big day. (I cannot wait to see everyone's wedding pictures in July :) )

    I used various sized craft pearls (18mm, 14mm 10mm) and silver balls (5mm).  They are floating in a mixture of water and transparent water gel beads.

    I think I've got our new hotel blocks all set up. Still waiting to hear back from the caterer re: final menu and still working on a new photographer and new officiant (neither could travel to our new location, unfortunately) - with so many balls up in the air it feels good to get one thing checked off at least!

    Also FI has been doing research for a rehearsal dinner location and got really into it - he even made his own spreadsheet. It's adorable.

    -Started a running list of items for the venue that need to be taken over the week before the wedding or the night of the rehearsal dinner at latest.

    -Picked out our "close the party" song. Starships by Nicki Minaj.

    -Finalized all the information for the programs!

    Found a Personal Assistant- not a necessity I know but she is in college for event planning and wants to be a wedding planner. so it was perfect!

    Tweaked my Timeline and Day of Decor list

    Emailed the baker to confirm that after a million emails I do want a top tier cake for our cupcake tree.

    I ordered the embosser, finished designing our invites, ordered my dress label, ordered my stripey straws, the last of my cocktail napkinds are coming in, and my white robe for day of is coming in.
