Where should I hold my ceremony?

Both photos are from my venue. The setting of the first one has a built in arch/altar. The second one is under a giant oak tree. I love the tree, but do you think it would be odd to use that space and have the "altar" empty? Any input is welcome!

The one with the altar has the better view and will look much better in pictures.

I just had a friend get married under a tree like that it was beautiful, but like said the only problem is the house in the back, kind of ruins it for me. But if you don't mind it then go for it, maybe tie a ribbon around the tree or something too.
