We squeezed money out of our budget for video because we initially werent going to use one. I searched high and low for the best quality in our budget. We decided on SureShot Videography, they are out of MA but travel to RI. They run specials often where you can get like $300 out of their popular/main package. The owner/videographer Jesse has been super easy to communicate and get in touch with.

David Bettencourt. I wish I had hired him instead for my wedding. He was unavailable but his assistant was available.

I had no intention of doing one and then at the last minute, we booked John from Wedding Stories.  I am so happy we decided to do it.  Our video is awesome and it's so nice to have that in addition to our pictures.

  • we hired david bettencourt and he seemed great on the scene. but we are going on 4 months now and still waiting to even see a highlight clip from our video. i think he is really busy and has a lot of other side projects too. so if you hire him, be prepared to wait awhile to get your video.
  • I think 4-6 months is really the average for a well produced wedding film. I"ve heard of some quick turnarounds but feel that those video companies shoot some sort of template style which allows that type of thing. I like a more compelling style as opposed to a collection of posed  shots just strung together with music. I have even been quoted 9 months by some big time wedding film companies.
